About

Scout Troop 60 (Natchitoches, Louisiana) was chartered in 1928 and is one of the oldest BSA Scout Troops in Norwela Council. We meet Thursdays from 7:00-8:00 pm (except in July and during school holidays) in the Bostick Room of First United Methodist Church (411 2nd St, Natchitoches). We have monthly outings, short and long campouts, and opportunities to volunteer in addition to weekly meetings, all of which you can see on our Calendar link.

Troop 60 offers the best of Scouting: outdoor adventure, leadership and character development, and community engagement in Scout-led teams (called patrols) that work together to accomplish their goals and HAVE FUN!

For more information, come visit us at a meeting, call the Council office, or use our Contact page to send us an email. Thanks for your interest in Troop 60!
