Hiking toward the hiking merit badge

The Hiking merit badge is not for the faint of heart but, if a scout can commit to it, they truly have the determination needed to become an Eagle Scout. To earn the Hiking merit badge, a scout needs to complete the dreaded 20-miler, plus 5 other difficult hikes.

Sunday afternoon was a beautiful day for hiking.
