Troop 60 met this week for their second week of working on the merit badge for Geocaching. Geocaching is an outdoor recreational activity, in which participants use a Global Positioning System receiver or mobile device and other navigational techniques to hide and seek containers, called “geocaches” or “caches”, at specific locations marked by coordinates all over the world. Nick Maxey taught the scouts via a Zoom meeting Scouts discussed how the Scout Law aligns with the rules of Geocaching.
